Do I really need it?
Although many schools have gone test optional or test blind since the COVID-19 pandemic, taking the ACT and/or the SAT can still prove essential for most students. Not only can the scores be used to determine eligibility for coveted scholarships, they can also be looked at as a metric for a student’s ability to prosper in the highly competitive college academic environment.
